[Beowulf the cartoon]

Distortion

At the begining it seemed to be like the real legend but if you tried to do so I must say there were lots of lacks. Even though your animation is quite good, the drawings were simply awful. The written texts have some big errors.
But good try anyway, I don't see much mithology here in newgrounds.

Good but not worked

It was very static and repetitive, and the graphics could have been better, but it was a lot of fun.
The story is very good, just try not to be so lazy in animating.

You used simbols pretty well, and sure have talent but... Fuck religion.
I mean, there can't be an all-mighty being: Could this being do people who are free and aren't controlled by him? If it can't it isn't all-mighty and neither if it can. And if the world was made by a good being who can do anything then there wouldn't exist evil. Anyway, cience nowadays is enough to tell that religions are wrong. You don't believe in Santa Claus any more, do you? It's the same for "God".

Wow, that was really a good parody. Full of action, final fantasy and... thievery? I want more! (I couldn't find anything to improve)

There's not much to say as I completely agree with Dyram_blade. I loved the song in the ending... is it from Utena? Can't wait to see how the story continues.
The bad points: The mario you did in the transformation had the proportions of a rather thin person and a clampish-sad face, but Mario's fat and smiley!

Lol. That was almost poking fun at the movie itself. XP I was hoping to make it look like I was really taking it all seriously, and the buff, lean Mario was all part of the joke. :) When I put him in there like that, it's really more for silly drama than anything else. :) I particularly liked the stark contrast you get when he's all big and buff in that scene, and then suddenly he's that short, chubby little guy. :P But you're right. Mario REALLY shouldn't look that way. :)

Come on!

This isn't good enough. The sprites and all that made it have a very interesting look, and the music was well chosen, but it ended up being a shitty look-at-me-I'm-a-videogame-addict movie with a boring plot. And it was very short too.
By the way, the credits were fun...

Great!
The graphics were brilliant, the animation awful and the script... Just too good. It was very static, but it worked! Loved the angel, his jokes, his shapeshifts and his chesire cat fading.

And to all the christians out there: Santa Claus doesn't exist...

I don't see graphics like those much often. You sure know how to draw! I didn't like the song, but it works well with the movie.

Cliff Hanger

Interesting film. During a long time seems just another random fighting movie, but the ending is really interesting. You left me wanting more of it!
Although the drawings are not very good the animation is fantastic, but it would be better to make everything go a little faster, specially the slow-mode scenes. They are just too slow, the spectator looses interest. And it would be nice to see a shocking ending, not just the tipical "samurai cuts in two the bad guy". Apart from that, brilliant.
I can't wait to see the next one.
